Tribo experiment

The parallel verification of the calculation programs with the results of experimental investigations is a central point in the philosophy for processing research projects at the ITR. Through constant contact and close cooperation with industry, all calculation tools must continuously prove themselves in practical applications. Turbomachinery of all sizes, from power plant turbines to exhaust gas turbochargers of thermal engines, are investigated under the most difficult operating conditions.
